Top 5 Wednesday X

April 8 - Books You Wanted to Start Yesterday

Well, this one is a pain, since I have waaay more than just five books on my TBR pile, and a bunch of them that I meant to read years and years ago. =/ So I just picked a bunch that have been on there for a pretty ridiculously long time........ *not really in any order whatsoever*

Hawksong

I started this several years ago, but I just never got very far. I found it interesting, actually, and wanted to finish it, but I just stopped and never picked it back up again. I really have no excuse since I own it...

Insurgent

I've been meaning to read this ever since I finished Divergent but then my dad read it before me and started talking about it and my brother got negative about what he heard and stuff like that just really annoys me, and then I just never really had any time to start it...

Brisingr

So....I started this twice. I think I never even got halfway through. I wanted to finish this series, but I've truly lacked all motivation in order to do so...

Inkdeath

And again....I started this several times. I think I even got about halfway into it. But it was just so long and had too much going on and someone was a bit negative about it and then it just got set aside..... *sighs*

anything by Brian Jacques

I've only ever read one of his books, and there was one of his Redwall books I tried starting once but never stuck with. I've always wanted to go back and read a few of his stories...

The Way of Shadows

I started this book, like, twice, and I only made it about nearly halfway through. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, either. I found it interesting. But I generally read more YA, so this super thick adult read was much too much for my poor brain. I might try and start it again this summer...

A Game of Thrones

Oh sheesh. I started this twice, I think, but I didn't totally restart it...and I know I only got about halfway through, I think I started off reading it, and then switched to the audio, and still didn't manage to finish......

Top Ten Tuesday XIII

April 7: Top Ten Characters You'd Like To Check In With
(meaning, the book or series is over and you so just wish you could peek in on the "life" you imagine they are leading years down the line after the story ends).

The problem with this prompt for me is that there are very few series I have actually completed and very few stand-alones that I have read...but I will do my best. Some might not be over, but if they were to end or if I were to catch up, then I have included them as well... Also, I just listed the book/series in general, rather than a specific character.

10.
The Caster Chronicles

10.
The Flora Frydraaca trilogy

9.
The Artemis Fowl series

8.
The Night Circus

7.
The Thief Lord

6.
The Spiderwick Chronicles

5.
Howl's Moving Castle series

4.

Théâtre Illuminata

3.

The Chronicles of Narnia

2.
The Raven Cycle

1.
The Harry Potter series

*edited, added Narnia

Currently Reading: Manga Edition VII

And here's the manga...

Currently Reading VII

So as far as my reading has gone, last month wasn't too bad...but it wasn't too hot, either. Here's what I'm currently still reading...

Flashback Friday XXXIV

So this week has just been really intense. I have so much homework yet to do this weekend, and I'm seriously wondering why our Spring Break wasn't closer to Easter...

I'm supposed to meet with my advisors today, to discuss my senior year, and it's really stressing me out because of so many conflicting class times and unavaible courses that no one told me about beforehand. Seriously. It's so frustrating...

One of our cats passed away on Wednesday, which has also been kinda rough. :(

I finished painting my room, but haven't managed to finish moving myself, due to previously mentioned intensity of homework and sh*t.

I read, but once again, I accomplished nothing.

And I spent more money on more books. So that was an epic fail...

Ah, well. Better luck next week...

So...I haven't done one of these in quite awhile, either. o.O Anywho...
This Wednesday's Top 5!

April 1 - Favorite Jokester Characters

I thought I'd stick with manga characters. ;P Not all of them are technically "jokesters", as in always causing pranks, but a lot of them are my favorite fun-loving characters.

And I couldn't do just five. :P

Yanda from Yotsuba&!

6.
Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist

5.
Kisuke Urahara from Bleach

4.
