Showcase Sunday / Stacking the Shelves / The Sunday Post XLI

More holds...so many holds... I think I am under the illusion that the world might very well end if I run out of things to read...which has yet to happen.

Borrowed:

So I visited this dollar store with my friend last weekend and of course I discovered the practically free books in the back.

I also got some books from Amazon. My dad ruined my copy of The Raven Boys (this is why we can't have nice things) and I've been dying to get my hands on the next Drug & Drop volume.

  1. It looks like you got some fun books to read this week :) The subtitle of the Ms Marvel comic made me smile, hah. I am yet to read any of her story yet, but I have a collection that I really should start!

    1. I work as a page at my local library so I see lots of new titles (and plenty of old) so it's rather hard for me to resist when I see a pretty cover. :P

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Nice variety and I hope you enjoy them all. I currently have too many books out from the library. I need to find a copy of I am Princess X though as I loved Cherie Priest. I can't wait for the sequel to Maplecroft early this fall!

    1. Thanks! I have way too many out as well, but that doesn't seem to ever stop me from getting more. I still need to read Maplecroft! It looks so good. I read another of Cherie Priest's books a few years back, I think it was about zombies, but I don't remember the title...

  5. I've had Never Have I Ever on my shelf for forever. Oops.
I enjoyed This One Summer. Did you read it already?
Ticker... I still need to read that too...
Did you have a 5 year old tantrum? Spilling anything on The Raven Boys is blasphemy.

    1. I started reading it and it looks pretty good. But it'll probably take me awhile to get through...
Oh yes, I just read it and loved it. :)
I keep having to get it through interlibrary loan and it keeps taking forever to get it back out again...I just have too much read and am not very focused on any one book.
Haha! I was pretty pissed. He is not gentle on books, like at all. So I refuse to let him borrow any more now...
