So I've been working on a few books for awhile now, got a few more out, & took a few more back. I tried reading a few spooky books for Halloween but I think I might try again for most of them next year. I'm having a hard time really getting into a good book right now, to be honest. I go through reading slumps and once I find one or two that snap me out of it for a bit, there's always this sense of panic as I search for the next awesome read before I fall back into the slump once again. Well...here's what I'm reading right now, anyway.
Well October disappeared so quickly...I'm looking forward to alittle Halloween horror tomorrow, but to be perfectly honest, November is one of my least favorite months of the year. Seeing as how I'm no longer in school, I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with myself since as I've mentioned before I'm having a hard time with the post-grad job hunt which is rather discouraging. I still have my little partime job at the library for the meantime, though... I'm still looking, mind you. But I've also realized that I really want to update my online art presence, whether it be through deviantArt or Tumblr or some other form. I've heard Paetron is good, but I feel like you need *more* before you can just pick it up. I would also like to my create my own website, but again, I feel like I need to use some other site in the meantime...so that will probably be my main project next month. We'll see... I haven't really checked out anything recently so this is just more of an update/wrap up post... I think I did okay this month, all things considered.
Hey! So here's what I managed to read this past week. Also, I forgot to post for my September Owlcrate box, Darkness, but please check out my Instagram account (hallowwanderer). I try and follow back as many bookstagrammers as I can. :D

So I'm pleasantly pleased with what I finished recently. I had set aside both Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and The Raven King for awhile now, and it was wonderful to finish them both. And let me tell you...the FEELS. I don't know what to do with myself now, too much too much too much. I'm hoping to get reviews out next month..... Adulthood is a Myth was also super cute. I've been a fan of Sarah Andersen's comics for awhile now, and it's encouraging to see another young artist getting so far. It's made me feel more motivated to start enhancing my online, artistic presence as my post-grad job search is going mediocre so far... I finally finished Demon Love Spell, though I feel as though I liked some of the earlier volumes more. I also started Black Clover, and I enjoyed it at first. Further in, it just felt like a mashup of Naruto and Fairy Tail, so now I'm not quite so sure how I feel about it...
Well, I guess it's about time that I rename my haul posts to something more neutral. Forgot to do this last week, but that's just how I roll. Here's the latest two books that I added to my collection, though I have yet to read either series. I also got some books out from the library, but most were ones that I had gotten previously and never read. I'm in the midst of the job search, as I've mentioned before, so it's uncertain how much posting and reading I'll be able to get to within the next few months...though I don't want to stop blogging completely. I'm hoping to maybe get some reviews out, but we'll just have to wait and see what the rest of this year holds........
So I'm taking part in a few challenges on Instagram for October, one of which was making a TBR pile for the month. Here are the novels that I'm working on now, have been meaning to finish for quite some time, or would like to read closer to Halloween...
